The Herbal Experience
at Hope College

Our custom designed 15 sq ft hydroponic farm, Bit1, is a remotely controlled smart farm that grows fresh herbs inside the Phelps Dining Hall. This project aims to provide a fascinating, enriching, and deepening connection to nature and body through the micro-farming experience. We strive to promote sustainability, quality, and freshness by building better relationships between people and food.
